On March 27, BIA organized a meeting with representatives of Imereti-based companies in Kutaisi, Best Western hotel. The meeting “Local Business Challenges and Development Opportunities” was held within the framework of B Talks, bringing together more than 100 companies.

The meeting was aimed at discussing business potential in Imereti region, exploring the levers of market monitoring and control and considering other issues relevant to regional representatives.

BIA team presented consolidated statistics on Imereti-based companies to the attendees and introduced new prospects for business development.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Gagi Buadze and Kakha Guledani, Chairman of the Roads Department – Giorgi Seturidze and Deputy State Representative - Governor in Imereti. Specially invited guests took part in the discussion, which aimed to explore the prospects and challenges of business development in Imereti region. Representatives of regional companies had the opportunity to pose questions and get information on the matters of their concern.

Within the framework of B Talks, BIA has already organized two meetings in Tbilisi with transport and construction companies to inform the invited audience about the market trends and other relevant issues. About 200 Georgian companies took part in the event.

BIA will continue to organize meetings under B Talks on a regular basis and will cover all regions and business fields by the end of the year.
