BIA is pleased to initiate a novelty for business representatives. B Talks is a new direction of BIA, which entails segment meetings with Georgian companies.

On February 2, the first segment meeting – “Transportation and Shipment Potential in Georgia” took place with shipping companies in Tbilisi, at Holiday Inn hotel.

Representatives of more than 100 companies attended the event. Representatives of BIA and invited guests jointly discussed crucial issues, such as the market statistics for transport companies, effective solutions for market monitoring and control, investment opportunities, effective use of media and new channels of communication with customers. “Our goal is to provide useful and relevant information to Georgian companies, to help them expand their activities and more effectively run the business,” said Salome Kukava, Deputy Director of BIA.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of Customs Control Division and Non-Tariff Control Division. Invited speakers informed the audience about new regulations of customs control.

BIA will continue to organize meetings in the framework of B Talks on a regular basis, covering all sectors of business by the end of the year.
